Resolved not to do any work on the May Day Bank Holiday (including housework!), I took myself off to Carrickfergus, a large town on the north shore of Belfast Lough, famous for its Norman castle and part of the Causeway Coastal Route. Two hours were well spent enjoying the views, listening to the sailboats jostling in the breeze and taking in the sea air along the promenade.
I was intrigued by the names of some of the boats. These are a few that caught my eye – the dreamy Sea Whisperer and the more daring Rum Runner!
The sun was high in the sky , the sea glistened and the seaweed shone iridescent green.
All in all, a pleasant few hours spent at the seaside, enough to come home feeling revived and inspired to keep on blogging !
Nice and sunny pictures 😄
