It’s been a week of quiet, simple pleasures – taking time to reflect, decluttering and getting things in order, observing nature’s changes as the season slips by, making things cosy as the days get cooler.
Moments like these….
A few minutes of solitude sipping coffee on a dark morning..
Coming home after a long day to a hazy sunset…
Enjoying the contrast in nature…the slow decay of a thistle…
while ivy comes into flower with bright yellow clusters of loveliness…
Tidying my bookcase, parting with some books and rediscovering old favourites
Loving the soft flicker of candlelight on a dark Saturday afternoon and the gorgeous fig scent of an Irish Moss candle filling the air…
Hope you are enjoying your weekend wherever you are 🙂
I like your collection of books. I will look for them. I have read the book about Coco Chanel.
