It’s a beautiful Sunday morning here, the clocks have gone forward an hour and we have been blessed with sunshine all weekend. Yesterday I could hear the humming of lawnmowers for the first time in months, the smell of freshly cut grass filling the air. A bumble bee buzzed past me on one of my walks and camellias are flowering in gardens around the neighbourhood . Hedgerows have been trimmed back and fields are ready for sowing. It feels good to throw open all the windows, hang the laundry on the line and feel the sun on my face. After a shaky start, it looks like spring is settling in nicely and I do hope she stays for a while.
I hope you are having a lovely weekend wherever you are. And Happy Mother’s Day !
Beautiful photos! And aaaah, that smell of freshly-cut grass… Always a sign that winter is finally over! (Hopefully! 😆)
