Morning blossom

Sunday morning just past was the perfect Sunday morning –  calm and with the sun slowly rising in a cloudless sky. On an early morning walk, an abundance of spring blossom came into view, their boughs swaying gently in the breeze, their clusters of pretty white flowers a beautiful contrast against a brilliant blue sky.

Soon, the petals will be strewn on the ground,  the blossom here but for just a fleeting moment.  So it was lovely to just keep looking upwards and enjoy the passing spectacle while it lasts.  A beautiful start to a Sunday.
