Last Friday I spent the afternoon wandering around Ballyrobert Cottage Gardens, a favourite spot of mine close to where I live. After a hectic week at work, it was the perfect tonic to de-stress and enjoy the greenery and as the sun came out, to see the flowers in all their glory. I happily meandered around the garden, admiring the beautiful borders, feeling the heat of the sun on my face and slowly relaxing in the tranquility of the place.
As the sun shone, I couldn’t help but notice some of the flowers in bloom, radiant in hues of soft peach, sunny tangerine and burnt orange. It made me feel like summer was really here and that me happy indeed. I took a few pictures along the way, inspired to maybe add some pops of orangey sunshine to my own garden.
Without even realising it, I had spent two hours in this beautiful garden. It was the perfect start to a lovely sunny weekend !
For more information on the garden, you can visit their website to learn more about opening times, events and the range of plants for sale.
Also, a quick update on my little giveaway of notebooks and postcards. Sorry for the delay. The lucky recipient is Helen from Craw Crafts Beasties . I will be in touch with you very soon !
Beautiful photos! ❤️
