Early September days

Ah..the first days of September… already you can feel a change is coming, a seasonal shift as summer slips away and autumn beckons. Almost imperceptible at first as you  notice a cooler morning when you awake, then a certain crispness in the air and before too long, darkness descending in the early evening.

It’s my favourite time of year, with pretty scenes to enjoy nearby.

And blackberries adorning the hedgerows..with their jewel like clusters of juiciness and blush pink blossom.blackberry1

I hope September brings more lovely days like these.

Have a lovely weekend wherever you are.
