Yesterday was a misty, mizzly sort of a morning. I hesitated as to whether to go out with my camera. In the end, out I went, eager for some fresh air and a chance to wander around a lovely garden. By the time I arrived, the rain had returned but I carried on regardless.
Despite Storm Ophelia having made her presence felt earlier in the week, the garden was still looking fresh – a little bruised around the edges perhaps, a mixture of radiant autumn colour and seedheads as the garden transitions through the season. Autumn not only gives us gorgeous golds and reds, but pretty purples and pinks too. It really is the most beautiful season.
I took these photographs at Antrim Castle Gardens. It’s a favourite place I return to time and again..not just for the beautiful flowers but for the memories I attach to the place 🙂
Have a lovely Sunday…
