A cosy treat

November..often a forgotten month, caught as it is between golden October and the sparkling lights of December. There’s still lots of autumn loveliness to be had, though, and with the shorter, colder days, it’s the perfect time to cosy up . After evening walks with Boris, I just love to come back home into the warmth and snuggle up on the sofa with a cup of tea, something to read and maybe a little bit of chocolate.

With that in mind, I have a little treat for you. I’m giving away a copy of Turf and Grain magazine (full of interesting articles and inspiring photography), a candle and some chocolate…everything you need for a cosy evening.

  1. Grain! I prefer November to December. There’s something nice about the newness of the dark evenings and the smell of woodsmoke (in my imagination – Dublin actually smells of many other things). By December, things get a bit oppressive as the Christmas madness starts. By January, I just want tropical heat and 24 hour sunshine.
