As is the tradition in March, the weather has brought us sunshine and showers. And just when we might think we have seen the last of winter, the snow arrives to remind us it’s not quite over yet. Apparently, spring advances at a speed of approximately 1.9 miles per hour so living where I do, it’s yet to get into full swing. Still, as the snowdrops die back, the soft, delicate yellows of early spring start to come into focus. Β And although my garden lies neglected and sodden from the rain, the arrival of the primula and daffodils are a welcome reminder of what’s to come.Β Even Boris has to stop and admire the view !
And with the periwinkle spreading it’s blue flowers along the garden floor, and the hellebores still in bloom, it just goes to show there is colour to be found in the garden even on a snowy day in early March !
‘I never saw daffodils so beautiful. They grew among the mossy stones about and about them; some rested their heads upon these stones as on a pillow for weariness; and the rest tossed and reeled and danced, and seemed as if they verily laughed with the wind, that blow upon them over the lake; they looked so gay, ever glancing, ever changing.

Beautiful clear blue skies here first thing, followed by a quick sprinkling of icy rain late morning. Weβre back to blue skies again now. I love your photographs.
