Flowering currant..

A first venture out after a difficult month and there's no better place for coffee and cake to go followed by a wander round the trail than @ballylaganorganicfarm. Beautiful snowdrops and crocus on display as well as some friendly and very cute pigs to talk to. Highly recommend a visit if you live nearby x

My mum was always buying me flowers. She'd pop by to give me a bunch of roses...for no other reason than she loved me. Sadly, she passed away last Thursday after a short but determined battle with a disease of the immune system called HLH.

A hint of February sunlight through a rain stained window.

A scene from just over a week ago when snow covered our garden and these tiny little alpine flowers just managed to peep out over the snowflakes. Much prettier to look at than the rain we have had for 2 solid days !

It's been a challenging few days.
