It's been relentless rain and wind here all day. Boris has snoozed in the kitchen while I've been making our home feel a little more festive. Loved this scene in Belfast city yesterday which inspired me to make a start ! The tree is up, the fairy lights are sparkling and the candles are flickering. Time to cuddle up on the sofa, with a brew and maybe a mince pie or two ! Have a cosy Sunday evening folks 🙂
Day 7 of December Reflections. The prompt today is Favourite Photo of 2019. Where to start? There are so many. But I do like this one..of two camera shy horses who came over to say hello last Saturday when I was on a wee dander round Donegore. It was bitterly cold, the scene before me was beautiful and I took this photo using the manual settings on my camera. Result! Whatever you are doing today, have a lovely Saturday 🙂
Quite literally...December reflections on my bedroom window as the sun went down today. Perfect for today's prompt 'Through the Window' for Susannah Conway's December reflections 2019. I love taking part in this !
Welcome December. On this first day, you are already magical ❤
Black Friday? Meh...I dont think so It's a 'sun streaming through the window and it's almost the weekend' kind of Friday. You can step outside and feel the warmth of the sun's rays for free. No discount code required. Happy Friday all 🙂
'It was three o'clock: the charm of the hour lay in its approaching dimness, in the low-gliding and pale-beaming sun. I was in a lane...whose best winter delight lay in its utter solitude and leaflless repose' From the wonderful Jane Eyre, helping me to navigate and embrace November ❤
