And they call it puppy love

I just thought I would share some recent pictures of our basset hound, Boris. He is now almost 8 months old and is an absolute joy to be around. After a long day at work, nothing beats coming home to his sweet face with those beautiful brown eyes and floppy ears.  I think they call it puppy love…lol.

Boris and Mr Fox

As with all puppies, there is never a dull moment when Boris is around. He is always chewing something or having adventures with his furry friend, Mr Fox. I suspect Mr Fox won’t last long though. Boris will have chewed him into pieces in no time.

My best friend

He is super cute and gathers admirers wherever he goes. And yet he still finds time to pose for the camera. He has a serious and quite regal side too, sometimes ! We just love him to bits.  And we’re fairly sure the feeling is mutual. He really is my best friend.

Not so much love for bathtime

Basset hounds, though, are not known for their love of water, even less so the bath. I think it is safe to say, looking at this picture,  that Boris isn’t loving his bathtime experience. Just look at that face! Amazingly he did sit still long enough to get washed. But I’m not sure it’s an experience he would want to repeat any time soon. Although he may not be enjoying it, it makes me so happy to have him in our home .

He does love the grass, though

As you can see from this picture, Boris loves the grass. He loves to eat the grass and he loves to roll around in it. I think this is one of my favourite pictures of him so far ( and I do have a lot of pictures!)

Puppy love

It really is a case of puppy love 🙂

Thanks for stopping by,

Paula
