Another little ode to cow parsley...quite possibly the most photogenic of all flowers !
Just a few scenes from a wonderful morning spent yesterday at The Escape to the Garden Tour of The Walled Garden at Helen's Bay. There was homemade lemonade, an informative talk on no dig gardening and fabulous live music. Not to mention tea served in vintage china and delicious homemade cakes. We were blessed with beautiful weather set in beautiful surroundings.
It's here...the cow parsley I mean. In all its glorious frothiness. If I could dedicate my entire IG account to cow parsley, I probably would.
'Yet though it be the chilliest May with least of sun and moist of showers, its wind and dew, its night and day, bring up the flowers'
Dance of the Bluebells
Scenes from a bluebell wood...hastily taken as it was pouring with rain but worth the trip none the less. The magic of a bluebell wood never ceases to amaze me.

"The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies"
